Effective January 1, 2009, provides that the salary for an elected district attorney shall be not less than $100,000 per year. Effective January 1, 2010, provides that the salary for an elected district attorney shall be not less than $110,000 per year. Effective January 1, 2011, provides that the salary for an elected district attorney shall be not less than $120,000 per year. Effective January 1, 2012, provides that the salary for an elected district attorney shall be not less than $130,000 per year.

Requires, for the 2012-2013 fiscal year, and every 4 years thereafter, that the judiciary committees of the general assembly review and make recommendations, if appropriate, regarding district attorney compensation.
